Biography: Jin-Nam Park
Jin-Nam Park is Clean Hydrogen PD(Program Director) in KETEP(Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning) and also Professor in Kyungil University. Recently, he served as a Chair of “Hydrogen production division” in preparation of “Korean Hydrogen Economy Roadmap” and “Basic Plan for Implementing the Hydrogen Economy”. He worked in the Refinery division in Hanwha Energy and worked as a post-doc in the University of Waterloo in Canada. Lastly, he worked as a Principal Researcher in LG Chem till 2010. His main research fields are Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell. He graduated from Dept. of Chemical Technology in Seoul National University and also got B. Sc. and Ph. D. in the same University.

Eiji Ohira is the Strategy Architect of the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO)’s Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Technology Office In this capacity, he has been responsible the overall strategy, execution and coordination of NEDO’s research, development and demonstration project on fuel cell and hydrogen since 2013. He has also coordinated fuel cell and hydrogen activities with international stakeholders, through International Energy Agency’s Technology Collaboration Program (IEA Hydrogen TCP, Advanced Fuel Cell TCP), and International Partnership for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells in the Economy (IPHE). He joined the NEDO in 1992, just after graduation from the Tokyo University of Science. He served as a visiting scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1997-1998. Before taking up the current position in April 2013, he served in several positions, including Representative at NEDO Asian Representative Office, Director of the Energy Storage Technology Division.

Ning Yan received B.S. and PhD degree in chemistry from Peking University. Afterwards, he joined EPFL in Switzerland as a Marie-Curie fellow, before joining National University of Singapore in 2012.
Bio
Ning Yan is Professor of Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, and Director of Centre for Hydrogen Innovations at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Ning Yan works actively in advanced catalysis, renewable energy, and sustainable chemistry, for which he was duly recognized by recent awards from the Royal Society of Chemistry, American Chemical Society and National University of Singapore, among others. He is listed as a Highly Cited Researcher 2020 (Chemistry) as well as 2022, 2023 (Cross fields) by Clarivate, and he serves as Editor-in-Chief for Molecular Catalysis and President for Singapore Catalysis Society.
Brief Bio of Professor Hansong Cheng
Professor Hansong Cheng received his Ph.D. degree in chemistry from Princeton University in 1991 and subsequently joined Air Products and Chemicals, Inc, headquartered in Allentown, Pennsylvania, as a senior scientist. In 2004, he participated in organizing the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Hydrogen Sorption Center of Excellence, which included 5 national labs, 9 universities and Air Products and served as a member of its Steering Committee. In recognizing the outstanding contribution to the DOE hydrogen program, his team received 2010 DOE Hydrogen Program Special Recognition Award from the U.S. Department of Energy. In 2009, he became a distinguished professor of chemistry at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), where he founded the Sustainable Energy Laboratory and has been serving as its director. In 2014, Prof. Cheng founded Hynertech Co., Ltd. to commercialize the hydrogen technologies based on the concept of liquid organic hydrogen carriers (LOHCs) and has served as the Executive Chairman and the CTO of the company. Hynertech has been widely recognized as one of the world’s leading companies in LOHC technologies for safe and industrial scale hydrogen storage and delivery. In 2017, Prof. Cheng was elected to become the inaugural President of Hydrogen Industry Technology Innovation and Application Alliance of China. He is a recipient of several major national and provincial awards. He served on the faculty of National University of Singapore and several major universities in China and as a technology advisor for several major companies. He is an author of over 400 peer-reviewed publications and an inventor of over 200 patents and patent applications and has delivered over 200 invited lectures in professional conferences, academic institutions and government and industrial labs around the world.
